Jason Robertson

President. CEO.

Jason grew up in a single-parent home in the south suburbs of Chicago. In 1989, the New York Yankees selected him with their 2nd pick in the Major League Baseball draft. Jason enjoyed an 8-year minor-league career in professional baseball, making it to Triple-A and spent several seasons on the Yankee’s 40-man roster. Upon retiring in 1997, Jason returned home to Chicago to build his life after baseball.

 

Between 1997 and 2001, Jason ran a youth center in Chicago for two years, was the “baseball coordinator” on the Paramount Pictures movie “Hardball” starring Keanu Reeves, trained the late Bernie Mac for his role in the movie “Mr 3000” and was the Head Hitting instructor at a baseball academy, before finding his path in sales.

In 2001, Jason co-founded Planned Packaging of Illinois Corp. (PPOIC), a full-line industrial packaging distributor. PPOIC distributes all mediums of packaging, including, but not limited to, pallets, films, boxes, tapes, and bags. PPOIC expanded into manufacturing with the opening of Planned Packaging of North Carolina (PPONC) and Planned Packaging of Tennessee (PPOTN) in 2011 and 2012, respectively. Both divisions manufacture pallets and crates.

Jason is a co-founder of Cornerstone Educational Foundation (CEF), a non-for-profit organization that provides college tuition scholarships for underprivileged high school students in Lake County, IL. CEF also provides support to various organizations by providing mentoring, job training, and career assessment.

A devoted husband and Christian, successful entrepreneur and proud father. Jason is a strong believer in being a well-rounded individual. when not running his business, he can be found either traveling with his beautiful wife, spending time with family, or playing golf.

Jack Callham

As co-founder Jack is an integral part of this successful, diverse company. With 30 plus years of hands-on experience in business, he has developed extensive knowledge in business to business sales as well as operations.

 

He grew up in the Southwest Suburbs of Chicago. As a teenager, he always worked two jobs, which have helped shape his tireless dedication to hard work. After graduating from High School, he went on to college. He graduated from Northern Illinois University with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. In the early part of his career, he gained extensive knowledge in the plastic packaging spectrum. He initially sold many different types of flexible plastic packaging materials. As his career continued, he began selling additional types of packaging materials such as corrugated boxes, chipboard partitions, adhesives and glues, labels, and wooden pallets. These days Jack has added warehousing, product customization, and pallet production to his repertoire. PPOIC as a company continues to focus its research towards developing more efficient ways of packaging products for the ever-changing needs of each valued customer as well as an ever-changing marketplace. One of Jack’s main objectives is to continue his commitment to developing the best ways to exceed each individual customers’ needs by continuing to build long term lasting business relationships working closely with customers, vendors, and the PPOIC team. Building this business has been a true labor of love with endless rewards, friendships, and knowledge to last a lifetime.

In his personal time, he enjoys following sports, spending time with his family, and traveling. He values his faith and health investing significant time and energy in both areas.
